WRITING at RUTGERS UNIVERSITY

Lisa Zeidner is a Professor of English at Rutgers University in Camden and Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing, a 42-credit program with a unique multi-genre approach. Rutgers-Camden also offers two special programs in creative writing.

The Spring Writers' Conference, an event now in its 20th year, is a one-day program of workshops and readings in April.

The Summer Writers' Conference, now in its 22nd year, is a week-long program in late June that may be taken for both undergraduate and graduate credit.

Visitors to the programs have included E. L. Doctorow, Nora Ephron, Toni Morrison, Tobias Wolff, Sharon Olds, Yusef Komunyakaa, Nicholson Baker, Kathryn Harrison, Jonathan Lethem, and many others.
